Help the WDFM raise funds to buy a pavilion for our picnic tables!
It’s Summer 2012 at Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market and it is an exciting place to be! If you have been with us since the beginning, you will know exactly what I mean.
After humble beginnings in November 2011, with only a few vendors brave enough to face the cold and wind (not to mention taking a chance on our community) we have tripled our vendors offering a large selection of locally grown produce, meats and poultry, soaps and olive oil, as well as many other locally produced items. By venturing out every Saturday, you continue to support us. Thank you!!
And now, we need to expand! I am writing you today to ask that you consider partnering with WDFM to help us with this expansion project. The WDFM needs to raise money for a variety of items. Your generous donation will help us purchase a large tent to cover the area where picnic tables have been graciously provided by the city. Also, we need more tables and chairs so more of you have a place to sit, eat, and visit with your friends, neighbors and all who come to the market. We would also like to provide a shady spot for our wonderful musicians, as well as host more community events AND expand our educational programs. Please consider making a donation now. Here is how:
